The love of a mom
I read a lot of articles on the internet, a lot of them are brought to my attention by women on my baby board... and I read TWO yesterday that were about abuse of little ones. Last night I had changed Noah's diaper and since it was about bath time I left all of his clothes off and let him crawl around. As he was sitting with his back towards me and I saw the frame of his little body, I started getting choked up wondering how ANY mother could intentionally hurt her baby, or any baby for that matter. It really makes me hold Noah that much tigther, and kiss him that many more times.

God has instilled in you a deep and never ending love for your son, Ter. You have accepted that, and Noah will forever be blessed. I don't know how anyone could ever hurt a child either. I just know that it probably helps that you received the strong and amazing love from our mom, and you were shown how to love others. Pray for the babies that don't have a mom like we did, or that don't have a mom like you are to Noah. I love you, Ter.
I know which articles you are referring to and all I can say is that I truly believe mothers who harm their children are ill themselves (I have to believe this in order to maintain my faith in the inherent goodness of mankind).
I read abuse stories and simply pray that God touches those children in some way that they are either rescued from their torture or able to find some sort of peace and comfort until the day they can leave themselves.
