Thankful

Did you know that Thanksgiving was actually a day to thank God for what he has blessed us with? Not the pilgrims and all the stories that came with that. So, a day early, I'm going to give a you SHORT list of what I'm thankful for, although, it mearly touches the many blessings I've been given.
*Family
*My husband-He is such an amazing man with a heart of gold
*My Son-My heart is his
*My sisters (All of them)-They are a huge blessing... my best friends
*My WONDERFUL mother in law... God knew I'd really need her.
*A wonderful job with great bosses
*A great extended family
*Awesome friends... all of them
*LORD... he is all I need, he knows my heart like no one else
*My mom.... I miss her so much, but I know that she watches down on us. She was the BEST mom I could've asked for.

I mean, who could NOT be thankful for what they have?
And, because what post is complete without a picture? A little silly face to be thankful for. :) What a little light he is in our lives.

Tagged

I was tagged by Sandra... so here goes

1. Jesse Luke Cohen... but I just call him Jes

2. We met when his sister took my number to give to him. She had faith that we would make a good couple... I was just looking for a nice guy. He called, we met for hot chocolate, and we've been inseperable since.

3. We dated for a year and a half before he proposed, but we both thought of marriage sooner when we purchased our house together.

4. We were engaged for 11 months.

5. We've been married for 2 years! ;) Very happily I might add.

I tag: Melissa B, Melissa R, and Emily

Random post

We had over 240 pictures for three days on our camera... I'm going to just post some random pictures... the really great ones Jes took. I can't pretend that I take pictures as good as his. :)
Most of these are from Jesse's birthday weekend at his parents...

More of Jesse's work

Seems as though he really enjoys sticking his tongue out

Jes let him have the jar

He wouldn't eat for us, but would eat if he fed himself

"Gwama" was cracking him up!

Happy Birthday to my sweet, sweet husband!!

Today is my husband Jesse's 29th birthday. 29 years ago, the best man I have ever known was born. I have only spent 4 of his birthdays with him... but I do know that with each year he becomes a better person... more honorable, more sentimental, and a better husband and friend.
Happy Birthday, Jesse! I love you with all that I am.

And one more of his KIND eyes

He's WALKING!!!!!!!!!

Noah is walking! Last night he took about 6-7 steps before he lost his balance! Saturday he took about 3 steps before losing his balance. I can't imagine how much he'll be walking by the end of the week. I'll try to get some video tonight. (He doesn't like to perform for the camera, so I have to be sneaky about it).

BRRR... It's been cold outside

For the readers that don't live here, it snowed for about 6 hours on Wednesday. It didn't stick but just a little bit and melted off, but it was COLD. We got home from work and our house was really chilly... we haven't hooked the heater back up to come on at a low temp yet, and the fire had burned out. Good thing we had Noah all bundled up.

Halloween and our rainy weekend

We weren't able to get too many pictures of Noah in his costume because we had a tired little "monkey" and he just wasn't too into it, but you still get the idea.

It was a rainy weekend in, so Noah spent most of the weekend just being himself... hanging out at home with all of his toys. He LOVES this police car... he loves to be pushed in it, he loves to just sit in it, and he loves to push it around himself.
Notice how serious his face is... and he's not upset, he's talking. (see his foot up on the dash??)

We've also realized in the past few weeks that Noah pretty much thinks any time you dance around and look stupid that it's really funny. So, while he was eating yesterday I was spinning around and pointing at him, he got a kick out of it. Dad thought it was picture worthy.

And here he is modeling a little hat that I threw together as an experiment... looks like a poor little boy, huh??

And.... last but not least... Noah's newest accomplishment!!! He can stand for quite a few seconds on his own. He doesn't quite know what to do once he's up and standing there, but he is doing GREAT! He did take one step towards me yesterday... it won't be long and he'll be off and running!

Little Hat

I saw a post online about how easy it is to whip up a hat for a little one... out of pretty much whatever you have available to you. So, I took some old sleepers sacks that Noah never wore and cut.... this is what I came up with. It's really unfortunate that it's too little for Noah's head. :( But, I do have a few friends having some baby boys, and this will be perfect to put with one of thier gifts.
