Easter, Prior to Easter and This week

So, we have been slacking on our updates, but we are here now, so that's all that matters. Right? Right? :)
Prior to Easter we went down to the bay area to meet with Jesse's school director and then we stayed with my aunt and uncle. We spent one day and visited Stanford campus and hospital so that we could site-see and Jes could get to see some cool equipment. A quick trip, but we do have some pictures. (For those that have never been to the Stanford campus, it's beautiful, and the church.... WOW! It's all mosaic tile on the outside. It was closed, so we couldn't see the inside which was a total disappointment).

Picking lemons with Uncle Bob

Looking at something that is VERY interesting outside. :)

The Church

We took Noah to the egg hunt at the park this year. LOTS of little kiddos, and he pretty much just stared and watched all the other little kids. He did manage to get a few eggs and put them in his bucket though. We also managed to get him to sit with the Easter bunny. At first he had a look of terror in his face, then after the bunny patted his leg, he actually seemed interested and mildly amused with her. :)
Egg hunting

These last pictures are randoms of Noah. His new favorite thing (well, the past few weeks) is just books, books, and more books! He will go in his room and spend hours just looking through books, pulling them out of the basket, pointing at more on the shelf, and giving them to us to read to him or to point at things in. He loves playing with his cars too! And he is into hats... sometimes I come home and he has hats on in the house, just because. Mostly beanie type hats, some of Dad's even that are way too big. :)

(a picture Jes took that I thought was cool)

I gave him a whisk to play with while I was busy in the kitchen, he soon learned that it's much more fun to bang on the floor (and drive Dad nuts) than to stir something in a bowl.

The mess that he creates

And we won't tell Noah that as a little guy we played dress up with his hair... or that Auntie Coalie did. (notice the pony tail)

I can't believe he was so fascinated with the bunny! I would be scared of that thing, and I'm not 18 months old. :)

Also, we used to go even further and dress my brother up as a girl. . . and he's a very well adjusted man. I think Noah can handle it.

Very cute!! If you think that's a mess, wait til he's a bit older and see what kind of mess he makes with toys, books, etc. It's crazy!! I recognize that cute red & blue striped shirt...Tyson looked so cute in that. I'm glad you're getting use of those clothes. :)
