"Noah"

This morning Jesse and I were both in the bathroom and we hear Noah say... "Noah". Clear as day, loud like he was calling for himself (like I call for him when he's not in the same room as me). We both looked at each other and laughed.... I couldn't get him to say it again, but we know he said it. I guess we did good by giving him an "easy" name?

An overdue post

We have been busy! Jesse and Noah make it out of the house every day.... usually they go for at least ONE walk, and they are always anxiously waiting for me when I get home from work.
Two weeks ago Jesse's grandpa passed away, so this weekend A LOT of Jesse's family came in for a big family dinner on Sunday. It was so crazy to see SO many people come together. All of his family is really amazing and sweet, and we had such a good time! We were able to get one Semi-good group photo... but with a large group we seem to find some glitches in getting everyone to actually LOOK at the camera... plus it was about 30 degrees that day.
Then just some random pictures of Noah... of course.

P.S.

I'll be updating the background and header as soon as I have time... I know it's past Christmas.

Quick update with lots of pictures

Our old camera card broke, and then I was having problems getting my computer to read our new camera card, thus the long delay in updating the blog. I don't even have any Christmas pictures because those were all on our old disk. Really a bummer.
So, everybody is doing great, Noah is running around and is into everything, he's quite the busy little bee! Him and Jesse have a good routine throughout the day, and he's usually very excited to see me when I get home from work.

The pictures are in no particular order, but you can see his changing little face.
Checking himself out in a mirror while he ate, he was cracking himself up!

Playing in the cupboard, he loves the salad spinner

Playing in the laundry basket. We have to keep it emptied or he'll carry the clothes around the house with him, depositing them ALL over

Protesting that Mom took his paci away

HAPPY boy!

A picture Jes took yesterday... Noah is looking like such a big boy!

Just our sweet baby

This is what he looks like when he pushes Mom out of her slot in the bed and takes over the whole pillow!

Noah in a tree, down in Red Bluff

I LOVE this picture. Also taken by Jesse yesterday down at the train station. The new goal for them is to take pictures every afternoon on their walk. :) And Jes takes some INCREDIBLE photos.

New place to hang out

So, apparently since Noah has been spending so much more time at home he has found new places that he likes to be in...

Think he'll be a baker or a chef?

And because I couldn't resist his sweet little curls

Going for a walk

Jesse takes Noah for at least one walk a day now that he's home with him... so I am lucky if I can squeeze in two walks a week (being on Saturday and Sunday). It's dark and cold by the time I get home, and I don't want to drag Noah out.
BUT... I did snap a few pictures of our walk on Saturday... Noah has a new jacket and I had to get some pictures.

Notice his socks? Those would be mine... Jes wanted to be sure his feet were warm.

And a quick snap shot Jes got of Noah last night while he was taking pictures of our tree (pictures to follow later this week, the ones we took didn't turn out).

I mean, how cute are those cheeks???!

Thanksgiving and the weekend

Thanksgiving was spent with lots and lots of family (my inlaws) and Thanksgiving night I got to see my sisters for a little bit. It's this time of the year that I miss my mom the most I think, because she was our center. I hope to get that back some day, making me or my sisters the center for our families.
The WHOLE clan

This is Jesse's aunt, Noah's Great Aunt. I LOVE this picture! How sweet is it?

The rest of the weekend was spent at home, then some time at Grandma's house on Saturday (where Jes and Noah got to ride the four wheeler) and then some more family on Sunday.
Noah also got to meet Santa Clause on Friday night, he was a bit intrigued by the beard and such... as you can see. :) The lighting wasn't very good, because it was in "The North Pole" that our fire department set up. We'll get another one when Santa goes around in his sleigh.

Okay, enough random babbble. On with the pictures!
