Ultrasound Picture

The best picture we got.... the only one that resembles a baby. :)

It's A......

In case this isn't jumping out at you as great news, I mean, it's a cupcake, right? The color of the sprinkles indicate what the ultrasound tech THINKS our newest edition is. :) He didn't give us a high percentage, but thought he saw the "three lines" and said he'd be surprised if the baby didn't come out that way.

He said the baby looks perfect, moving all over the place. He said by my measurements he's thinking my due date would be 8/17, which is a bit off from my 8/9, but that doesn't concern me at all. He said all the measurements were consistant and we are good to go!

Just some snapshots

We haven't been doing anything too exciting, Noah still isn't the best sleeper, and then with the time change.... well, it makes for some pretty tired parents and baby. So, just a few snapshots of our little monkey.
We took him to the football field on Sunday with Teaspoon and let them both just walk around in the fresh air. I think we ALL needed it.

Teaspoon... SUPER DOG! I love that Jesse captured this picture of her. :)




He thinks whenever he gets stuck or falls, that if he lifts his leg, he'll get down. :) He needed Mom's help with this one

And what is a post without messy food pictures? His new thing is that he hates being fed. So it's finger foods, OR, as I do, give him his own spoon to eat with while I shove food in his mouth too. :) Works like a charm... besides the mess. But what is dinner without a little mess?








On the baby front.... I'm starting to feel light kicks throughout the day, but nothing too strong yet. AND... our ultrasound is next Monday. Less than a week away! I can't wait!

Our update... overdue of course

A quick update. I have been sick for two weeks now and counting with first strep throat, then a cold a week later. Noah has been fighting the cold for a few days, and now Jes has a bad sore throat. We've passed it around. AND... Noah is cutting teeth like there is no tomorrow. He must be making up for lost time. We took him to the doctor again today fearing that he had an ear infection because he refuses to go down at night. BUT... it's just that he has a mouthful of teeth that are all trying to make their way in. Poor little guy is miserable! On a good note, he looks adorable with his teeth. On a bad note, he won't let us get a good picture of them yet.

So, the following pictures are actually from around Valentine's Day. For Breakfast I made pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. Noah isn't yet a fan of strawberries, but oh boy does he like the whipped cream! (must take after his mom)
And last but not least, a 16 week belly shot. It's not a great picture, but you get the idea that the belly has started growing.

"Noah"

This morning Jesse and I were both in the bathroom and we hear Noah say... "Noah". Clear as day, loud like he was calling for himself (like I call for him when he's not in the same room as me). We both looked at each other and laughed.... I couldn't get him to say it again, but we know he said it. I guess we did good by giving him an "easy" name?

An overdue post

We have been busy! Jesse and Noah make it out of the house every day.... usually they go for at least ONE walk, and they are always anxiously waiting for me when I get home from work.
Two weeks ago Jesse's grandpa passed away, so this weekend A LOT of Jesse's family came in for a big family dinner on Sunday. It was so crazy to see SO many people come together. All of his family is really amazing and sweet, and we had such a good time! We were able to get one Semi-good group photo... but with a large group we seem to find some glitches in getting everyone to actually LOOK at the camera... plus it was about 30 degrees that day.
