Summer Fun

Even though Noah is at home with Granmda or in daycare all week until Friday's when his daddy is home with him, we have still managed to get him out to have some fun too. He loves the river, he likes to walk in and throw rocks, even if he never goes past his shins. He feels the same way about the lake too... he likes to just walk in the water and stand there. But, he has a great time. He also likes to play in the sprinklers and his sprinkler pool, which makes me happy because I always ran through the sprinklers when I was little.
Just a couple of pictures of our sweet little guy....

Hair Cut...

Twice yesterday I tried to post pictures of Noah's new haircut, but Blogger must've been having some issues. :) After much debate, we decided it was time to cut Noah's hair. He was still more than able to pass off his hair, except it was getting in his face all the time, and we felt it was time.
We set up an appointment with Aunt Coalie and just did. I appeased him with a sucker (he thought that was pretty yummy!) and directed him with it as she needed to get to each side. He did great.
He looks like a completely different boy, which makes me sad. He no longer looks like my little baby/toddler, which is one of the reasons we held off cutting it for so long.

The After

And the "Mom can't resist posting" picture

P.S.... I know I'm due for a belly shot. Like weeks over due. I'll try to post one in the next few days.

Soda Creek

Jesse and Noah spend at least two afternoons a week down at Soda Creek on the trail. Noah LOVES to walk around down there, pick up rocks and sticks to carry, and just watch the river flow by. He absolutely love to be outside, even if it's just on the front porch where he can see out. (Sorry for the picture overload, I couldn't help myself). :)

Noah and Lexi

This past weekend a friend of ours was up for the day from Plumas Lake, and her little girl is a few months older than Noah, but Noah liked following her around at the baseball park. :)

How adorable are they??

And I'll post a real blog on Monday.... with pictures of Noah and the belly.

Easter, Prior to Easter and This week

So, we have been slacking on our updates, but we are here now, so that's all that matters. Right? Right? :)
Prior to Easter we went down to the bay area to meet with Jesse's school director and then we stayed with my aunt and uncle. We spent one day and visited Stanford campus and hospital so that we could site-see and Jes could get to see some cool equipment. A quick trip, but we do have some pictures. (For those that have never been to the Stanford campus, it's beautiful, and the church.... WOW! It's all mosaic tile on the outside. It was closed, so we couldn't see the inside which was a total disappointment).

Picking lemons with Uncle Bob

Looking at something that is VERY interesting outside. :)

The Church

We took Noah to the egg hunt at the park this year. LOTS of little kiddos, and he pretty much just stared and watched all the other little kids. He did manage to get a few eggs and put them in his bucket though. We also managed to get him to sit with the Easter bunny. At first he had a look of terror in his face, then after the bunny patted his leg, he actually seemed interested and mildly amused with her. :)
Egg hunting

These last pictures are randoms of Noah. His new favorite thing (well, the past few weeks) is just books, books, and more books! He will go in his room and spend hours just looking through books, pulling them out of the basket, pointing at more on the shelf, and giving them to us to read to him or to point at things in. He loves playing with his cars too! And he is into hats... sometimes I come home and he has hats on in the house, just because. Mostly beanie type hats, some of Dad's even that are way too big. :)

(a picture Jes took that I thought was cool)

I gave him a whisk to play with while I was busy in the kitchen, he soon learned that it's much more fun to bang on the floor (and drive Dad nuts) than to stir something in a bowl.

The mess that he creates

And we won't tell Noah that as a little guy we played dress up with his hair... or that Auntie Coalie did. (notice the pony tail)

20 weeks and growing

Just a few belly shots.... the first two are on the 20 weeks mark, the next two are actually from today. By next month, I'm thinking there will be big changes! Because I feel the stretching going on and I'm sore!

And of course a random shot of Noah... because I know that's what you are all checking for. :) We were at Grandma and Grandpa's and since Mom and Grandma had bowls on their head, we thought Noah should too. He wasn't quite as amused when the bowl sat his HIS little head.

Noah at the park

Since we've been blessed with some spring like weather Jesse has been taking Noah to the park at least a few times a week. Noah loves to watch the kids, go down the slide (video coming next week) and walk the nature trails with dad. No good action shots of him because he's too quick!

So happy to be outside

Heaven sent

Always so happy!

And what a rugged little boy we have already!
