Sick...

Me and Noah have been sick since Wednesday. Noah woke us up around 1:00 am Wednesday morning with a fever of 102.8. (first fever for Mom and Dad to deal with) We called the oncall doctor who advised us to just give him some tylenol. We put some cool rags on him and I fed him and then we tried to give him some Tylenol, only to have him throw it up all over me. We get it cleaned up and start the process over again... to again have him throw it up all over. :( So, the tylenol was a no go. We finally got him calmed down and cooled off a little for all of us to get some sleep. He went to the doctor on Wednesday we were told it's just a virus, nothing we can do except to make sure his breathing stays consistant. I got sick on Wednesday night, Thursday I felt like I got ran over by a truck, making it really tough to function. I ran a fever through yesterday, topping out about the same as Noah's. Today being Saturday... we are both better. Noah still has a bad cough and wants to sleep a lot, and I'm still nauseous with a bad cough too, but we're on the mend I think. And poor Jes has been fighting off a sore throat for about two weeks now. And he has taken GREAT care of me and Noah while we were down. What a good husband and dad.
Here's a picture of our sick little baby.

Noah's Dedication

Today was Noah's dedication at church. We decided last Sunday to do it this Sunday, so pretty short notice. It was short, but sweet. Jesse bought Noah special clothes for today... the shirt was a little big and his little khaki pants were too big also, but he still looked very handsome. Jesse introduced us and then said a prayer... thanking God for bringing us Noah. Pastor Stan asked everyone that would support us to please stand, and the whole congregation stood. What an incredible sight. A prayer was said, asking for guidance and just being thankful for such an incredible gift to Jesse and I. Of course we thank God daily for bringing us a son that we love SO MUCH... my love for Noah is more than I ever imagined it could be. We are so glad that we get to teach him about his maker as he grows up.

Wonderful Weather!

This last weekend the weather was so nice, we got out and walked all three days! Noah loves being in the baby bjorn... especially when we're actually walking. He was in it for about half of the day Saturday and about half of the day Sunday. (Mom's legs were tired by Sunday night). Here are just two pics from our weekend.

4 Month Check Up.... at 4.5 Months Old

Noah had his 4 month appointment on Wednesday, he is now 14lbs, 14oz! He has almost tripled his birth weight already! He is 75% for his height, which I believe was 25 1/4 inches, and 50% for his weight. Overall, he is doing GREAT!!! He is smiling all the time, at almost everybody... he giggles, he loves to hear his own voice making all sorts of sounds. He especially loves when you mimic these sounds to him, makes him become even more vocal. He is sleeping great... last night he slept from around 9:00 (by the time I put him down for the 3rd time, dang naps around 6:00 mess up our schedule to 5:30 this morning. He doesn't mind being at me work, he's getting better in his car seat... he doesn't cry EVERY time. ;) He enjoys going for walks with his dad every day before they go home from my work. And he just loves to hang out and be loved on. We do feel that he is the cutest, smartest, and happiest baby the Earth has ever seen.... :) We feel so blessed! I will post pictures this weekend, I forgot the camera disk at home. I Got a few good shots of him last night.

Sugar Cookies

So, I know this has nothing to do with Noah, but I thought I'd add some festivities to the page. :) Last night Daddy and Noah spent all night in the kitchen talking and playing while Mom made some cookies.

Loves his daddy!

This morning Jesse was kissing on Noah and growling at him... and this is the sweet face we got while he laughed. He is getting more and more comfortable with Jes, he tracks him all over the room all the time.

He's turning into a Daddy's little boy.

Superbowl Sunday

We went and watched the Superbowl at Auntie TT's and Noah got to meet Ryan for the first time. She was born 6 days after him, but was actually supposed to be born before him. She is just a little peanut compared to him. :) As you can see. They did a lot of smiling at each other though.

And this is what Noah looked like after all the fun he had.
